The Effizienz-Agentur NRW (EFA) was founded in 1998 on the initiative of the NRW Ministry of the Environment in order to give industry and crafts in North Rhine-Westphalia impetus for a resource-efficient economy. With resource efficiency consulting, the agency supports manufacturing companies in making products and processes more efficiently and thus reducing costs and environmental impacts. In addition, the EFA supports businesses in the financing and implementation of resource efficiency measures and provides information on current developments in the field through events and training courses.
